Bennie is a wonderful dog, both to show and to own – he has done more winning than any other Irish Red and White Setter in the Southern Hemisphere and gained his Grand Championship title by accomplishing the following:

• 3 Best Exhibit in Show (All Breeds)
• 1 Runner Up to Best Exhibit in Show (All Breeds)
• 1 Runner Up to Best Exhibit in Show Gundog Club of WA Championship Show – Judge Setter Specialty Judge Mrs. B. Martin (South Australia)
• 8 Best Exhibit in Group (All Breeds)
• Multi Class in Group and Class in Show at All Breed Shows and specialty shows
• Best of Breed at the Melbourne Royal Show 2002, 2003, 2004
• Best of Breed at the Sydney Royal Show 2004
• Best of Breed at the Brisbane Royal Show 2003
• Best of Breed at the Perth Royal Show 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004

Bennie will now be ‘retired’ except for ‘big’ shows and his children will hopefully follow in his footsteps. He has been a wonderful ambassador for the breed and has proved that where there is quality in a breed you don’t need quantity.
Bennie is clear of ‘Clad’ Von WD, has excellent hip and shoulder ratings and is available for stud to approved bitches only.
